Privacy policy

Bizy Work Days is run by The Bizy Shop LLC, a Kansas company ("we"). This page says what we collect when you use the site or come to a session, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: info@thebizyshop.com.

What we collect

• Your email address, which is also how you sign in. We never ask for or store a password.
• Your name and, if you give it, your business name.
• Your RSVPs, waitlist spots, check-ins, and whether you came.
• The goals you write and how you answer "Did you get it done?"
• Your email settings and whether you asked for The Bizy Shop newsletter, with the date you asked.
• For paid sessions, what you paid and when, and Stripe's reference number for the payment. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
• Photos taken at sessions (see the Terms).
• Basic technical data: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and the usual server logs (like IP address and browser) that our hosting provider keeps for security.

Why

• To run sessions: hold your seat, run the waitlist, send confirmations and reminders, and check you in.
• To show your host who's coming and what they're working on.
• To count attendance and finished tasks, and to make sessions better.
• To email you about The Bizy Shop's own programs and events. The newsletter goes only to people who ticked the box for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who sees it

• The host of a session you sign up for sees your name, business name, email, goal, check-in, and your answer to "Did you get it done?" Hosts get this only for their own sessions.
• Other attendees see a count of people going, not your name.
• The Bizy Shop sees everything, to run the site.
• Our service providers store and send it for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), SiteGround (hosting and email), and Stripe (payments for paid sessions).

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with sponsors or venues.

Your information is stored on servers in the United States.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to finish a sign-in you started. No ad trackers.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your personal details and keep only counts that don't identify you (like how many people came to a session).

Your choices

• Pick which emails you get in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Download your history from My sessions.
• For a full copy of your data, a correction, or to delete your account, email info@thebizyshop.com. We'll answer within 30 days.

Age

Sessions are for adults 18 and older, or younger people with an adult who's 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
